Cave: digging into the Lord. Caving God into your heart and every action you proceed. Taking the time to pause for a moment with God.

-I hear this word cave and I imagine closing myself into a real cave with nothing but my bible, a pen, a notebook and a small light. One small light that is just enough to take away every shadow inside of you. Caving is where you are creating something special. Creating a relationship with the Lord. It’s taking the time to say Lord I know that I need You. For the past few days we have been diving head first into what it means to cave into the Lord. Training Camp taught me how to have intimate relationship with our Father in Heaven. God is our light in the dark cave. We on to be filled with his light so that we can prepare ourself for the road.

Psalms 18:28 “You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.

Table: fellowshipping with peers and other followers. Asking questions. Communicating each other’s thoughts about the truth. A space of no judgement.

-the table is about sitting with loved someone’s and saying “Hey I may not agree with you in everything but I’m going to love you no matter what.” Everyone is welcomed to the table. Training camp food has been wonderful! We have been given the opportunity to try different food from Africa, South America, and Central America. But the best thing about the food has been sitting at the table with my beautiful teammates and being able to share our stories together. We have been lifting each other up and encouraging each other to step out of our comfort zones.

Proverbs 27:17 “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another”

Road: taking the news out into the world. Taking those first steps of confidence in the Lord, out of your comfort zone and declaring the good news.

-Yesterday we were sent ourself out into the mission. We have no idea what to come and what we will see but we can have faith and trust knowing that with every leap of faith God is going to be with us. This road has been crazy so far but in each way God has showed us how to share the light in every situation. We are all settled in our house in Colombia and exited to see how God uses us in calling to the road.

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not in your own understandings, in all way submit to Him and He will make your path straight”

  1. Recreation is re- creation… I know you are there to do explore the Holy in the faces of the people you meet. May God bless you richly in moments of recreation and know that re- creation is happening within you and with those around you. Say to yourself, “make way for the Holy”. God is on the move. Grace and Peace, much love, Aunt Pooh
